The beginning orchestra is mostly made up of students in 3rd grade. We work on building a solid foundation including how to hold the instrument, read music, play in time, develop the students ear, and much more. The advanced orchestra is usually made up of students in 4th-6th grade and have been studying their instrument for 1 year or more. We work on advancing technique on the instrument along with performing two concerts over the course of the year.
